Review the military record to see if the autopsy results are on file. If not in file, request a search of organizational records, to determine if the military medical facility retired autopsy records to this Center. You must provide the date of death and location of death to the OR section.
If no autopsy records were retired to this Center, you may check for a clinical record. You may locate a copy of the report in the clinical record. If all searches are negative, provide the address of the military medical facility where the autopsy was conducted, and suggest that the requester contact the facility directly for further assistance.
